Lake District

This is a wonderful week enjoying the beautiful countryside of the lovely Lake District.

Walking Opportunities

There is great variety of walking on offer that ranges from lowland rivers, valleys and lakes, to ridges, high passes and peaks. Some of our group may take on Hellvelyn, while other mosey around Buttermere. We intend to organise two or three levels/paces of walking each day. You are always welcome to join one of these groups or make your own plans – whether that is a different walk, doing other things or having a rest day.

Bassenfell Manor

Bassenfell Manor Christian Centre is located near Bassenthwaite Lake, about 7 miles north of Keswick. It is a beautiful old manor house, now designed for groups, so is very comfortable and relaxing.  We think you will feel very much at home here. Travel

This is not included, but we will try and help arrange a car share scheme. We will certainly be taking a large vehicle from Chalfont St Peter.

Jesus + Christian Community

With Bible teaching each evening, we are commited to putting Jesus at the very centre of the holidays. We hope everyone will feel welcome whatever their beliefs or faith.

Catering

We love food! We choose to organise our own catering to help keep the costs low, and hope helping our cook for one day with cooking and washing up will be fun, and it defintley won’t cut into your walking time.

If you want to plan really far ahead we will be returning next year too! We are always happy to accept advance bookings.
