Our ski holidays are designed around coach travel as we think this offers good value and maintains a reasonable level of comfort and convenience. However, we understand that for some, coach travel is a non-starter particularly if you get travelsick, hate the channel crossing or are very tall!
Self Driving option
You can easily drive from the UK to the Alps and it can be quite cost effective. The journey will take 8-10 hours from Calais to most resorts. Use the transfer information for the details of how to find our chalet when you arrive in the resort or call us for more information. Please follow the flying booking process if you intend to self drive.
Booking process for flying
We are not able to sell you flights directly without an (expensive) ATOL license. However, the process is very simple and we are happy to give you as much information as we can from our experience of flying.
1- Book the holiday of your choice and tell us if you plan to fly.
2- Once you receive confirmation of the holiday, then book your flight. (note that if you purchase flights before you receive a confirmation, we cannot be held liable for costs incurred) There are a number of carriers who fly to Switzerland such as: Easyjet, British Airways, Flybe and Ryanair. Try http://www.skyscanner.net for a good idea of what is available. Check the full cost of the flight before booking, as some 'low cost' carriers include additional costs for your skis and luggage!
3- Use our airport transfer page and the timings information below- ie: arrive in resort on the first Saturday 15:00-17:00, leave the following Saturday afternoon in the afternoon after skiing.
4- Please then tell us when you expect to arrive and depart.
Planning your Flights and Rail bookings to coincide with the group
We are not allowed to take luggage for flyers, as we're not allowed to carry things for people not on the coach.
The coach get's into resort on Saturday afternoon between 15:00 and 17:00. Please plan your journey to meet us around this time so that we can issue you with equipment; lift pass; eat a meal and tell you what is happening.
We then ski for seven days from Sunday morning until Saturday afternoon. Then after clearing up the ski gear, we drive away from the resort at around 5pm to eat a meal at a motorway services.
